Job Title: Class Teacher Location: Stretton Shires School, Stretton, Rutland Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP38,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Contract: Permanent, Term Time only Start Date: September 2024 UK applicants only. As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Class Teacher to join our close-knit team at Stretton Shires School. About the role To provide a high quality education service for our pupils in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. To work with the Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher, leadership team and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the school. Key tasks and responsibilities To plan, deliver and teach individual pupils or small groups, in accordance with the School rsquo;s Curriculum framework and related policies. To monitor, record and report on pupil progress. To contribute to and help implement developments that relate to the School Development Plan. To promote, in line with Company policies, the physical, educational and moral development of the pupils. To contribute to the development and implementation of an environment and programme of learning for the pupils to ensure progression at an appropriate and satisfactory rate. To take responsibility for coordinating the teaching, development, assessment, recording and reporting of subjects and areas of learning across key stages as agreed with the Head Teacher. To devise, implement and review individual education plans, individual behaviour plans and other relevant individual plans in conjunction with other staff. Qualifications required QTS About us Set in the heart of the Rutland countryside, Stretton Shires School is an independent day and residential school catering for autistic young people, and those with associated needs, offering specialist secondary education for pupils aged 11 ndash; 18.
