Designer coordinator ndash; joinery

About the Employer Our client is a market leader in the Specialist Joinery and Interior Fit Out sector, that notably feature on London rsquo;s most iconic and complex construction schemes, which include Google HQ and project Bloomberg, by undertaking detailed Joinery and Interior packages from Design Stage through to, production (Via their state of the art workshop) and installation. Besides working on flagship contracts they also specialise in super prime residential projects working on the most extravagant properties in the UK. About the role: Due to continued growth and strong market demand from their repeat client base, our client is recruiting for experienced Joinery / Fit out Designer and Design Coordinators, working from either Central London or their Essex HQ. * To be able to work independently and manage timescales against project programmes to achieve deadlines. * To use specialist computer software to produce plans and technical drawings for the project. * To ensure buildability, safety and access are considered when producing designs. * To liaise with internal and external departments to ensure client requirements are fully understood and compliant. * To ensure all plans and drawings are in line with the specification, acoustic and fire requirements and with the contract documents. * To ensure all design programmes and plans meet contract manufacturing requirements. * To complete drawing registers, deliverables and programmes throughout the project. * To attend design meetings with the client, design team and architect. * To liaise with engineers, suppliers and produce fabrication drawings. * To liaise with the site installation team. * Excellent knowledge of design software. * Ability to convert verbal and written information into 2D and 3D drawings with accuracy and Requirements * Relevant / design related Degree or equivalent (Preferred) * Minimum 3 years design experience working on Joinery projects * Auto CAD experience ndash; essential * Able to work in either Essex or Central London About the Benefits and Rewards: Salary will be in the region of GBP45,000 - GBP65,000 + Their Company Package.
