Commercial solutions design engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Solutions Design Engineer to join our clients new team. This full:time role is based in Warwick, and offers a favourable salary and benefits package, including the option of hybrid working. The Commercial Solutions Design Engineer is the primary technical resource for the sales force. This is a brand new role, in a new team focusing on solutions within the commercial building sector. In your first few weeks in this Commercial Solutions Design Engineer role, you can expect to: * Represent the sales force professionally and handle a range of customer enquiries * Generate standardized and project bespoke heating schematics for Commercial Heating and Hot Water systems for specifiers, consultants and Design and Build Contractors * Provide system:detailed product lists to meet specific solutions, assisting the installer/contractor with legislative compliance in line with the departments SLAs * Provide product sizing and dimensioning services of products to provide the overall solution for this Commercial Solutions Design Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: * Ideally educated to HNC level in building services or higher. * A proven track record of technical competence within the HVAC industry * Formal training and experience of Computer Aided Design systems, ideally AutoCAD and Revit. * Proven project management experience and an ability technical knowledge in a commercial context. * Experience with CRM Systems * A fundamental understanding of the 18 th Edition Installation and Wiring Regulations * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels both within and external to the organization. * Highly numerate to analyse and communicate effectively. * You will have demonstrable experience in Mechanical and Electrical building services within commercial properties. * An appreciation for renewable technologies with a knowledge of ASHP heating systems and requirements for transitioning from fossil fuel solutions. * In:depth knowledge of UK legislative requirements for new build properties, including Building Regulations, SBEM, Gas Safe and F:Gas You will have a natural collaborative working style, nurturing both internal and external key relationships to drive high quality deliverables Knowledge of district heating systems and building services experience advantageous.
