1-1 Tutor NOT group work GBP30-33 per hour Temporary part or full time basis Within school hours only Warrington area The Education Network based in Warrington, is Cheshire #39;s leader in providing 1-1 Tutors to students not accessing full time education. We work directly with mainstream, SEN schools as well as 7 education authorities providing 1-1 Tutors and this is expanding at a rapid rate, specifically within the Warrington area. As such we are looking to build upon our current bank of approx 70 1:1 Tutors that we gave grown over 10 + years - currently tutoring on a 1-1 basis in local libraries, childrens centres school students homes. At present we have a high demand for 1-1 Tutors who can deliver core subject areas across KS3 - KS5 Maths, English and/or Science (All 3 are not essential - Maths or English is great!) throughout the school day, so approx 9am-3pm. Many of the young people we support on a 1-1 basis have mild, moderate sometimes severe learning difficulties and/or SEMH issues. Many are dis-engaged, having not attended school for some time and as such can display challenging behaviour, or may have certain emotional barriers to learning. Many of the young people come with very little or no academic background, so we need 1-1 Tutors who can perform basic baseline assessments to ascertain working levels and plan for sessions moving forward. Ideal tutors will have their own resources/ bag of goodies as we say! Useful links can be provided. This can be a very rewarding role and suits 1-1 Tutors who are dedicated, reliable professional who are seeking a part or full timetable to possibly work around another job, childcare, studies or simply just because you prefer to teach on a 1-1 basis. Sessions are usually 1-2 hrs per student we are able to offer you as little or as many hours as you wish!
