What does the role look like? Join Collins Aerospace in Wolverhampton as a Subcontract Buyer, where you #39;ll efficiently coordinate repair operations, update the Demand Management Board, and manage Subcon Purchase Orders. You #39;ll liaise with Customer Service Representatives and Programme Managers to meet customer needs and ensure timely unit reintroduction. Additionally, you #39;ll collaborate with the quality team and manage supplier order books. Join us to excel in subcontract procurement and management. What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like? * Efficiently coordinates inbound and outbound sub-contract repair operations for the business. * Collaborates with planners to ensure accurate updates in the Demand Management Board (DMB) and maintains product tracking. * Initiates and processes Subcon Purchase Orders, dispatching them to suppliers for repair tasks. * Communicates internally with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements. * Works closely with Programme Managers to facilitate the timely reintroduction of planned inbound units. * Coordinates with the quality team to address any potential quality or documentation issues that may arise during the process. * Manages order books with suppliers, ensuring smooth and organized transactions.
