Senior data analyst

Are you an experienced Senior Data Analyst ? Do you have excellent SQL skills ? Have you Crystal Reports and Alteryx knowledge ? If so I have a really interesting role with my global financial services client, based from their Edinburgh office however its hybrid working. This is initially a 14 month Fixed Term Contract. In this role you will be responsible for creating reports using Crystal Reports, SQL Developer Alteryx. Main responsibilities: * Creating and maintaining reports using Crystal Reports and/or SQL, as well as creating stored procedures, functions, and views. * Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate and/or calculate information to fulfil data and reporting requirements. * Use of Alteryx to assist with creating and maintaining reports. * Work with report requesters to gather data and reporting requirements. * Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and kept up to date. * Providing support for UAT of Systems Development. * Managing scheduling of new and existing reports. * To identify, evaluate and report risks to team manager. * Ad-hoc project work. Essential skills: * Advanced SQL skills. * Knowledge of Crystal Report. * Good knowledge of Alteryx. * Experience with Power BI (advantageous) * Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Capacity to work unsupervised and under tight deadlines. * Strong organizational skills. * Effective communication skills. * Completer/finisher with the ability to see tasks through to completion. * Strong ability to respond and investigate queries. * Numerate with competent system skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel. * High level of accuracy and attention to detail while handling significant volumes of data.
