(Pharma, Food Beverage, Dairy, Refrigeration etc.) Research and Development Engineer / R D Engineer Essential Requirements / Experience: * The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 + years in a hands on Engineering position (R D Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Engineer etc.) * This person must have an engineering / manufacturing background * Strong exposure to product development / NPI * Exposure to design would be desirable but not essential * Must be a hungry and driven individual that wants to put their own stamp on an expanding role with the ability to work and fit into a small team Research and Development Engineer / R D Engineer Salary Package * GBP40,000 -GBP50,000 per annum (DOE) * Flexi Time * Early Finish Friday * Pension * Personal Development Career Progression * Based near Southampton Research and Development Engineer / R D Engineer The Role * This role is a perfect opportunity for a Research and Development Engineer to take the next step in there career in a varied and challenging role * 70% new products to market, initially 30% focussing on developing existing product range * The role itself is a split role working on multiple cutting edge projects at one time * You could find yourself hands on testing products within the Test and R D facilitate, through to problem solving on the shop floor, providing basic designs for test solutions / test rigs and products themselves through to projects management keeping the customer up to date at all times * We are looking for someone to work in a small team within the test and R D function while working closely with design and engineers on bespoke machinery projects If you are an experienced Research and Development Engineer with an engineering / manufacturing background and seeking a challenging, exciting and varied opportunity for a leader in their field that are going through a good growth period, this is role and company you want to be working for.
