Junior mechanical design engineer

Job Title: Junior Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Bradford Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: middot;Collaborate with senior engineers to develop detailed designs for textile machinery, with a primary focus on hemp fiber decortication and cleaning equipment. middot;Utilize CAD software (Solidworks preferred, but open to other major 3D CAD packages) to create accurate 3D models and engineering drawings. middot;Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimize product performance, reliability, and manufacturability. middot;Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. middot;Support the transition of designs from concept to production, working closely with manufacturing and quality assurance teams. middot;Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical design and manufacturing processes. Qualifications: middot;Bachelor #39;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. middot;Proficiency in CAD software, with experience in Solidworks preferred. middot;Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. middot;Effective communication and teamwork abilities. middot;Previous experience or coursework in textile machinery design is a plus but not required.
