Financial controller

Financial Controller, Central London (hybrid- 3 days a week) GBP100- GBP110kpa plus benefits including a 20% bonus Our client, a business with very exciting plans in place for the future are looking to recruit a technically strong Financial Controller on a permanent basis. The Financial Controller will report directly to the CEO and will play a key role in developing the financial platform to ensure the business is fully scalable for its next phase of growth. Due to the relatively early stage in the company #39;s development and the significant growth expectations, this should be a fantastic opportunity for the right person to operate a world class finance function and then grow the role with the company. Key Duties:- - Effective cash flow management, including optimising working capital and maintaining liquidity forecasts. - Ensure robust control environment is in place with reporting to board on adequacy of internal control environment and ensure control environment is scaleable for expected rapid growth. - Co-ordination of internal and external resources to ensure the finance function is seen as one integrated and well coordinated team by Investors. - Continuously monitor balance of in house v outsourced work and make recommendations on optimum balance of internal and external resourcing. - Development of annual budgets and plans at both manager and executive level and work closely with CEO Leadership team on long term strategic and scenario planning. - Identify risks and opportunities across the business, creating and developing solutions. - Manage Board Investor reporting processes. - Review all tax related matters, both domestic and cross-border issues. - Manage the Regulatory Tax Compliance requirements at the project/local jurisdictional level. - Manage the Project Valuation process (with support from Investment Team). - Selection and implementation of appropriate accounting software. - Oversee banking relationships, cash management and payments. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and be a real self-starter, team player, confident in leading, motivating and co-ordinating multiple out-source providers. You will have experience of reporting to and managing multiple investors / shareholders / stakeholders, with strong process management skills, an ability to prioritise and react quickly to dynamic demands from stakeholders across the firm.
