This full:time Manufacturing Engineer role offers a salary of A GBP 45,000 to A GBP 50,000 per annam and many excellent benefits. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support manufacturing processes to improve product quality and ease of manufacture. This critical role is to develop/implement improvements to manufacturing processes and to drive continuous improvement, consistency of product quality and delivery. During your first few weeks in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you can expect to: * Create, manage, and deliver improvement action plans * Implement a customer:focused, operational improvement culture, delivering world:class customer service levels * Explore the business case for process automation where applicable; for repeatability, efficiency and quality improvements * Develop processes to improve dimensional stability from effective jigging / fixture / alignment * Continuously drive efficiency improvements that reduce the build hours/product * Lead, develop and implement quality manufacturing improvement programmes across area of responsibility * Coordinate cross:functional team activities to optimise the cost performance of the plant through capital investment programmes, optimising operating standards and minimising waste through the development of a continuous improvement culture * Support and lead structured problem:solving and process improvement activities for this Manufacturing Engineer position, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: * Ideally holding an HND or an Advanced/Higher Apprenticeship in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering * Educated to Bachelor level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Discipline * Planning experience using SAP and Ideally Trained in SAP * Structuring BOMs from Drawing to Manufacture * A proven successful track record of manufacturing excellence and experience in a similar role within an industrial or technical environment * It would be advantageous to have planning experience with SAP or to be trained in SAP If youre looking to impact and create change positively, youll be rewarded with a salary of A GBP 45,000 to A GBP 50,000 and an excellent benefits package for your inclusive and committed approach.
