Automotive Parts Specialist Location: Warwick Salary: (To be discussed on application) Permanent Our client is a global organisation with a vision to create a clean and energy:efficient future by delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive market who are looking for a specialist to join them as an Automotive Parts Specialist. The Automotive Parts Specialist will be tasked with managing product information both in terms of data handling and storage of such information. Along with researching/validating competitors products with view to maximise market coverage. Key roles and responsibilities for the Automotive Parts Specialist * Add company part numbers into the global PIM tool (CCU) as requested by Product Line. * Research or validate potential new vehicle application linkages to current live part numbers to maximise market coverage. * Research or validate key defined competitors (KDC) cross reference details against company part numbers to maximise competitive position. * Maintain data storage locations (CCU and Excel files) with accurate information obtained from new vehicle application linkage research AND KDC cross reference research. * Research and maintain product relational part number data locations * Product photography : liaison with photographer to complete as required. * TecDoc maintenance. * Liaison with other internal teams : Category, Product and Engineering being the main areas. * Liaison with customers regarding feedbacks / issues. Lead by example. What were looking for in the ideal Automotive Parts Specialist * 5 years Automotive Aftermarket cataloguing or motor trade business experience. * Experience of cataloguing systems at main dealer or aftermarket. * Expected skills and competencies for the Aftermarket Product Information Specialist * Understanding of Car Parts with some mechanical knowledge. * Experience of using Tecdoc or Tecdoc derivate systems (Teccat/ Webcat) etc. * Experience with ERP and industry Cataloguing/Analytics Tools, including CCU advantageous, but not essential. * Strong Communication skills. * Accurate with meticulous attention to detail, organised and ability to work closely within a team and to schedules. * Team player : with a can:do attitude and sense of humour * Ability to multi:task and remain detail:oriented with sound time management and organisation skills * Solid communication skills and able to take action and escalate when necessary * Strong Microsoft office skills including outlook, word and excel * Results driven and focused on delivering. * Builds trust with key stakeholders and understand the customer perspective Benefits for the Automotive Parts Specialist Salary: Competitive salary plus bonus Hybrid : 2 days in office* (On completion of probation) Holidays: 25 days plus statutory bank holidays.
