Supply chain planner

A global manufacturing organisation near Bolton are currently looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain team on a permanent basis. This is a varied and fast paced position involved in preparing, managing, and delivering the production schedule in line with customer demand and manufacturing capacity. The key tasks involved in the position include: * Work with the Senior Planner to produce a production plan that is realistic and measured, considering production constraints and engineering requirements * Responsible for collating, verifying, and analysing statistical data for planning * Setting up work orders and manufacturing BOM rsquo;s into the MRP system * Responsible for collating, verifying and analysing statistical data for planning and management. * To create paperwork for shipments and ensure deliveries meet forecast and supporting the shipping coordinator to ensure timely outloads of products To be considered for the position candidates will have proven experience in a Planning function within a fast paced manufacturing environment and experience using ERP/MRP systems. You will need excellent communication skills both verbally and written as well as proficient IT skills (MS Word/Excel/Outlook). A formal technical or business qualification would be an advantage. The position is office based Monday to Friday on a 37 hour week with flexibility on start and finish times.
