Light Vehicle Technician - Merthyr Tydfil. Are you a skilled Light Vehicle Technician seeking a stable, permanent position with flexibility, benefits and an excellent bonus? We rsquo;re offering exciting permanent opportunities for experienced technicians to join our client #39;s team in Merthyr Tydfil. The position offers: Competitive salaries from GBP26520 (+Bonus) to - GBP32240 (+ Bonus) Progression opportunities Excellent achievable bonus scheme. What you #39;ll do: Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and reliability. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including steering, suspension, brakes, fuel, air, transmission, driveline, and more. Replace major units and perform engine repairs/rebuilds as needed. Utilize dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment for efficient repairs. Maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards and adhere to company safety guidelines. Complete job cards, maintenance records, and paperwork accurately. Qualifications and experience: Recognized apprenticeship or proven work history in a similar role. City Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (minimum). 5+ years of experience. MOT Tester preferred (not essential). Additional qualifications in specialist diagnostics, electrical repair, mechanical repair, or welding a plus. Ready to excel in your career?
