Quality Inspector ndash; (Sub-Contract Precision Engineering) Position: Shift, Permanent Hours of work: 36 hrs per week ndash; 3 days Days of work: Friday / Saturday / Sunday Overtime: Available, Regular Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire Benefits: Workplace pension, Shift Allowance, Company Performance Bonus, Onsite Parking, and Regular overtime. Salary: GBP27,000 to GBP32,000 per annum, + Shift Allowance + Overtime + Performance Bonus Based on the above the expected earnings is approx. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team who will have an engineering background and preferably have experience in the subcontract motorsport/aerospace industry. The successful applicant will be required to read technical drawings and inspect components to customer design and specifications. You will be able to use various types of inspection equipment which includes CMM rsquo;s. Document control and completing reports which are provided on request. With the support of a well-equipped inspection department and other highly skilled teammates by your side, you will enjoy having everything you need to get the job done! Qualifications Skills * Have a sound knowledge of inspection equipment ndash; such as Height Gauges/Verniers/Micrometres * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and knowledge of GD T * Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 standards. * Be able to complete inspection reports - FAIR/PPAP and ISIR rsquo;s * Competent in CMM use, (Mitutoyo with MCOSMOS an advantage but not essential) * Work to tight deadlines while conforming to customer #39;s expectations. * Completing Final Inspection First Offs Conclusion SRD Engineering LTD offers a great work environment, with an extremely friendly atmosphere.
