Creative School in Thundersley, Essex | September 2024 We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Year 2 Teacher to join a forward-thinking primary school based in East of England, Thundersley, Essex from September 2024. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching in a Year 2 setting. Aside from that, the successful Year 2 Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience. Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities: middot; Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire Year 2 students to reach their full potential middot; Monitor and assess students #39; progress and keep regular records of Year 2 students rsquo; academic performance middot; Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning middot; Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for Year 2 students middot; Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings middot; Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children middot; Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment Year 2 Teacher Requirements: middot; Year 2 teacher experience middot; QTS or equivalent middot; A recognized qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor #39;s degree in Education or any relevant field middot; Proven experience in teaching Year 2 in a mainstream primary or secondary school middot; Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners middot; Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students middot; Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class middot; Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles middot; A passion for teaching and making a difference in students #39; lives.
