Maintenance electrician

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrician. This is an opportunity to join a leading Manufacturing organisation, known worldwide, supplying into Food Manufacturing organisations. The maintenance electrician will be joining an already established Maintenance team and will have support from Senior engineers on site. This role is commutable from: Stockport / Stoke-On-Trent / Macclesfield / Denton Shift the maintenance electrician will be required to work Monday to Thursday ndash; the option to work 1pm till 11pm or 2pm till 12 o clock. Benefits: * Salary: GBP38,000 - GBP40,000 * Pension * 21+8 Days holiday * Overtime * Flexible working hours / 4-day week. Industry: Manufacturing / Packaging organisation Maintenance Electrician Duties: * Trouble shooting and Fault Finding on various machines including Injection Moulding Machines, Extruders, Grinders, Rotational Moulding Machines, and associated ancillaries. * Planned Preventative Maintenance. * Identifying parts required to carry out repairs and providing details to the Maintenance Manager. * Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer rsquo;s installation manuals to complete projects. * Testing of fixed installations. * Some building maintenance such as lighting small power. * Installation of 3 phase supplies associated switchgear. * Highlighting potential problems with aging switchgear and advising the correct course of action for rectification. Maintenance Electrician Requirements: * Experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC rsquo;s. ndash; Strong fault-finding abilities * Experience with Grinders, Extruders, Injection Moulding machinery. * Ideally experience within Single and 3 phase systems. * Dealing with some Plant maintenance such as Lighting and Small power. * Must be Apprentice trained, holding a Formal qualification in Electrical engineering. * 17th or 18th Edition trained/compliant.
