Health safety trainer

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Health Safety trainer to join our client in Plymouth, UK, initially on a temporary basis. As the Health Safety trainer, you will share in our clients hunger to embrace cutting edge technology with an aim to deliver a first-class virtual training experience to their customers and employees. You will be experienced in both live and virtual facilitation, delivering a broad range of topics across the health and safety training spectrum. You will embrace this exciting opportunity to help shape and develop their Training opportunities for the market. Responsibilities bull; Work with colleagues across all departments to drive the training agenda as a product and service within the business. bull; Prepare and deliver our CITB SMSTS, SSSTS and Health and Safety Awareness training courses. bull; Work with external bodies to develop accredited courses/schemes. bull; Stay up to date with and identify market needs and trends. bull; Assist the HR Manager in producing training needs analysis for internal employees. bull; Build productive relationships with customers and employees. Please note this list is not exhaustive. Requirements and Skills You must be able to demonstrate a minimum of three years occupational experience in a construction management role. This experience must demonstrate accountability for site health and safety or site management/supervision. As well as a training qualification or a CITB recognised exemption, you must also have successfully completed at least one of the following qualifications: bull; NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health. bull; NVQ/SVQ Level 5 in Occupational Safety and Health. bull; Health and Safety degree. bull; NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Part 2, NEBOSH Units A, B, C and D. bull; Diploma Safety Management Level 6. The following are desirable for the role bull; Membership of Chartered Health and Safety professional (CMIOSH). bull; Experience of delivering H S training within the construction environment. bull; A recognised teaching qualification (such as PTLLS). You must also have bull; Demonstrable experience of providing virtual training lessons. bull; Experience of using online Training tools. bull; Experience of working on your own initiative and the ability to work as part of a team. bull; Up to date knowledge and experience of office software i.e Word, excel, outlook etc Working hours 37.5 per week, Mon to Fri between 09:00 17:00 If you are interested, please APPLY today or contact Chelsea Goodman in the Pertemps Plymouth office
