Primary supply teaching assistant

Supply Teaching Assistants urgently required for local Primary Schools in September 2024. Supply Teaching Assistants work flexibly across schools providing vital support. Flexibility is key - you can decide your hours and days to suit your needs too! We aim to provide classroom support to our partner schools by sourcing members of staff who has the following qualities and understanding; Safeguarding Staff for Education are wholly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff to share this commitment. The following responsibilities will be included in the duties which you may be required to perform: bull; Child protection, discipline, health and safety. bull; Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact. Job Description The duties and responsibilities in the job description are not restrictive and you may be required to undertake other reasonable duties from time to time. Any duties should not substantially change the general character of the post Primary Teaching Assistant: bull; General classroom support- whole class, small group and 1-2-1 led activities. bull; Reporting to class teacher, Head Teacher and SENCO bull; Carry out assessments bull; Report pupil progress bull; Support behaviour policy of school bull; Assist with planning activities bull; Support with resourcing lessons bull; Help develop and maintain the learning environment Person Specification bull; Must hold a clear, Enhanced DBS, to include Children rsquo;s Barred List, which is on the update service. (we can organise the application for this) bull; Have a love for working with children and supporting their development. bull; Have experience of working with children/young people bull; Hold a Teaching Assistant Qualification ndash;Ideally Level 3 bull; Be willing to undertake training and development bull; Good level of general education including GCSE Maths and English.
