Intermediate senior estimator civils

Our client, a well-known and established privately owned cash-rich Civil Engineering contractor based near Ossett, is seeking an experienced Civils Estimator or Senior Estimator to join the team due to extensive growth plans. The company has been established for nearly 50 years, with 5 offices across the UK. Their civils division currently has a turnover of approximately GBP14 million per annum and they are looking to increase this to GBP20 million over the coming years. At present, they have, on average, 12 live sites across the Yorkshire region with project values ranging from GBP10 million to GBP25 million, with a considerable pipeline of work. The company is currently heavily involved in civils infrastructure for developers, mainly housing. However, they also undertake commercial and industrial project infrastructure and plan to move more into these markets. We are seeking an experienced civils estimator who can work under their own initiative, producing civils estimates from first principles including take-offs, bill of quantities, schedule of rates, etc. Our client is happy to accommodate the software the successful candidate prefers to use (such as ConQuest, Candy, MS Office, etc.). We expect this role to appeal to estimators with at least 5-8 years experience or more, or even a hands-on managing estimator who is seeking to join a rapidly expanding company that will, in time, again offer a management estimator role as the company expands.
