Maintenance technician

My client, a specialist high precision component and machine manufacturer, have a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance technician will play a key role in supporting the maintenance department, ensuring machines, equipment and facilities are well maintained. What rsquo;s on offer: * AM and PM rotating shifts with early finish on Fridays to enjoy the weekend! * Overtime available * Great company team and culture * Excellent pension scheme and life assurance * Free onsite parking * Sick pay scheme and cash health plan The Job: * Support the maintenance all onsite machinery and equipment to allow optimum production levels. * Organise and coordinate testing, certification, and servicing of equipment. * Consult with service companies regarding PPM rsquo;s and coordinate sub-contractors on site. * Process requisitions for replacement parts and spares through MRP system, * Maintain records and schedules and complete follow up actions. * Flexible to undertake domestic maintenance/repairs as required. About you: * You will have excellent mechanical skills with a bias towards CNC machinery. * Proficient to converse on technical matters relating to parts, repair, and service. * Previous experience of MRP systems and conversant with Microsoft products * Proficient at reading engineering drawings and schematics * Good organizational, planning and people skills. * Recognised apprenticeship qualification or time ndash;served equivalent.
