Production engineer

Job Title: Production Engineer Location: Sandwich, Kent Salary: Depending on experience Security Clearance: UK SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain. Our client is one of the premier suppliers and system integrators of support equipment for military and commercial electro-optical sensors globally. They #39;re seeking a Production Engineer to coordinate production engineering processes from final design phase to full production release. Responsibilities * Manage design, modification, and maintenance standards for manufacturing equipment and processes. * Develop and implement production plans, build documentation, and route cards for engineering projects. * Contribute to Operations Department strategy development. * Coordinate cross-functional activities to address manufacturing issues. * Implement best practices to enhance production capacity, quality, and reliability. * Support continuous improvement initiatives and NPI efforts. * Oversee production engineering tasks for ToT projects. * Conduct customer and supplier visits as needed, requiring a valid driving license. * Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production. Skills Experience * Technical Degree/equivalent qualification or experience * Applies process engineering principles, concepts, and standards effectively. * Reacts promptly to production demand changes, implementing timely solutions. * Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD T). * UK Drivers License
