They are looking to recruit a Vocational Employability Tutor to join their expanding team either on a full time basis. The responsibilities of the Vocational Employability Tutor bull; To deliver a good quality of education to groups of students bull; To carry out initial assessment activities to identify individual needs, and develop Support Plans, to ensure that students are well-supported and achieve their learning goals bull; To deliver vocational and/or employability qualifications, in line with awarding body requirements bull; To mark, assess and provide constructive feedback on students rsquo; vocational and/or employability portfolio evidence bull; To conduct reviews so that the students have a clear understanding of their progress bull; To plan training to meet criteria and standards for vocational and/or employability qualifications, as well as the students rsquo; individual needs bull; To deliver engaging, effective and innovative group training sessions, so that students develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) bull; To complete all required documentation in accordance with laid down procedures to meet both contractual and internal requirements bull; To provide excellent Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance and support (including SEND) to students bull; To safeguard the welfare of all students, preventing radicalisation and promoting British Values The qualifications/requirements of the Vocational Employability Tutor bull; Ideally hold a recognised assessor award e.g. TAQA,CAVA, A1 bull; Teaching qualification minimum level 3 e.g. PTLLS, AET bull; Level 2 English and Maths Qualification minimum bull; Experience delivering Employability and Vocational training to 16-18-year-olds Please note- an enhanced DBS check is a requirement for this role.
