DELI SUPERVISOR INISHOWEN Our client is a hugely successful indigenous Retailer with a number of prime and extremely busy Retail establishments in their portfolio. They offer their loyal customer base the very best value and convenience when shopping and a personable and friendly shopping experience. To aid their existing growth, they require an experienced Deli Supervisor for a full-time permanent role based in Inishowen in Co. Donegal. The role - bull; Prepare cook, and serve hot and cold meals, maximising sales, and profit through an excellent customer experience. bull; Manage, co-ordinate and ensure compliance of stock. bull; Seek out to understand and meet the needs of every customer, whilst engaging and inspiring your team to do the same. bull; Manage and maintain standards in line with HACCP, food safety. Including completion of food safety paperwork and documentation. bull; Plan and organise weekly quarterly stock take and create and execute action plans on stock results accordingly. bull; Ensure stock loss is minimised for your areas by ensuring correct portion control, weighing, labelling, and pricing are adhered to, as well as wastage guidelines in place. bull; Deliver and maintain exceptionally high standards within your areas. bull; Manage a team of colleagues. bull; Manage and train colleagues in your team whilst being hands on, to ensure that the right people, are in the right place, doing the right job to maximise customer satisfaction. bull; Actively supporting the management team in ongoing initiatives that involve the local community and charity partners. bull; Champion social media for your area to drive sales. bull; Awareness of local competitor activity, suggesting new and innovative ideas to stay ahead of the competition. bull; You may be required to cover store key holding, with appropriate training, as and when required as part of this role. What we are looking for ndash; Substantial recent experience in a busy fast food, cafe, deli, food to go or hot counter environment and be able to demonstrate evidence of having a good working knowledge of food safety practices i.e., HACCP etc. Demonstrate communication interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages Preference will be shown to those with Experience of deli operations including bakery, delicatessen, provisions, etc. and those with a Food Hygiene Certificate.
