Mechanical design engineer

Our clients are a well-established Mechanical and Electrical contractor, we pride ourselves on being a full building services solutions provider who has successfully delivered multiple large-scale projects in Ireland, the UK multiple locations in Europe. Due to phenomenal growth we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Dublin. You will be responsible for developing and delivering mechanical designs to facilitate the safe and compliant installations on site. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES middot; Designing in conjunction with fire certs, disability access certs planning permission report. middot; Attending Design team meetings. middot; Carrying out site surveys of existing installations. middot; Producing stage reports presentations. middot; Detailing mechanical layouts schematics for build. middot; Sourcing and procurement of mechanical equipment for designs. middot; Creating test plans and documentation packs for developed mechanical designs. middot; Liaising with customers suppliers. middot; Meeting project delivery deadlines. middot; Production of detailed design briefs, the basis of designs and survey reports. middot; Carry out all work in a professional manner. middot; This list is not exhaustive or exclusive. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS middot; Minimum 5 years rsquo; experience in the Mechanical Engineering field middot; Deep knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Irish and UK standards middot; Knowledge of Hevacomp/ MEPWorx/ IES required middot; Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment middot; Strong communication skills
