Role: Para/ Legal Assistant Location: Hybrid ndash; Home ( /OR) Office, St Albans, Hertfordshire Salary: GBP26,000 - GBP32,000 dependent on experience Role over view An exciting opportunity for an experienced para/legal assistant to join our clients small team of professionals. To assist a partner in conveyancing work. 2. To liaise with clients and other third parties as necessary. 3. To correspond with clients as required. 4. To take out suitable indemnity policies. 5. To prepare the completion statements for the partners review. 6. To produce the final search results for the approval of the Partners. 7. To prepare payment slips for the partners review and approval. 8. To prepare the telegraphic transfers for the partners review. 9. To liaise with mortgage lenders and prepare certificates of title for the partners review. 10. To prepare unregistered title deeds for first registration for the Land Registry. 11. To review replies to requisitions on title and check that the correct undertakings have been 12. To schedule Deed on completed matters and prepare final letters for approval of the Partners. recorded. 13. To assist the firm with any part of the conveyancing process as the firm requires Key responsibilities A. To register transactions at the Land Registry. B. Searches in the Land Registry Office. C. Ensuring compliance with the solicitors code of conduct. D. To work in accordance with the Practice Manual. E.
