Job Title: Children #39;s Residential Support Worker Location: Houghton Conquest, Bedford Salary: Up to GBP29,662 per annum inclusive of GBP40 sleep in rate 5ab Care have exciting opportunities available for Children #39;s Residential Support Workers to join our team! We are seeking dedicated individuals who have a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. As a Children #39;s Residential Support Worker at 5ab Care, you will work as part of a team providing children with the necessary activities, support, care and guidance within our homes and the environment beyond, for the duration of any child rsquo;s stay with us. Responsibilities include: * Create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children and young people. * Encourage and support children and young people in their education, social, and leisure activities. * Work as part of a team to develop and implement care plans and risk assessments tailored to each child #39;s needs. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records * Support children and young people with their daily routines, including meal times, personal care, and bedtime. * Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people. * Act as a positive role model, promoting independence, self-esteem, and resilience in children and young people. * Participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities as required.
