HGV Technician ndash; Huntingdon ndash; Day Shift Do you have previous experience working as a Technician/Mechanic/ Fitter with HGV maintenance? Do you want to work for a company going through an exciting period of growth? We are recruiting an HGV Technician for a leading logistics company at their main site in Huntingdon. This is an additional role to a growing team in a well-established family run company that has been around for 20 years. This company are advocates of being green and efficient to reduce their carbon footprint. The Job roles and Responsibilities: As an HGV Technician you will have the following job roles and responsibilities: * To look after the defects, MOT prep and servicing of vehicles * Carry out routine maintenance tasks * Maintain records on work carried out with job cards and record on the computer * Set up purchase orders for stock and parts * Repair mechanical issues with Class 1 vehicles The requirements: To be suitable for the position of HGV Technician you will ideally have the following: * Experience of working as an HGV Technician/ Workshop Fitter/Mechanic * Experience with Scania fleet would be advantageous * Knowledge of using diagnostic tools to identify issues * Computer literate The Package: The successful candidate for the role of HGV Technician will receive the following package: * up to GBP24 p/h + overtime paid at time and half * 4 on 4 off shift patterns ndash; 6am ndash; 6pm * 20 days holidays * Workplace pension * Life Assurance (2 x salary) * Cash health care plan Please apply now to discuss your CV and the position in more detail.
