Finance assistant

CMA Recruitment Group are delighted to be working closely with a niche organisation for the recruitment of an Finance Assistant to join their friendly team on a temporary to permanent basis. Working closely alongside the Financial Controller and Finance Director, this varied opportunity will support the central accounts function with a diverse range of duties. What will the Finance Assistant role involve? Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and monitoring depreciation. Assist with the production of annual budgets and Year End returns. Production of balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns. Assist with transactional accounting duties such as sales and purchase ledgers. Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy: Ideally AAT qualified or studying toward CIMA/ACCA or equivalent. Previous experience in a medium to large business environment is desired. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent IT Skills including Excel (pivot tables, look ups etc). Additional benefits and information for the Finance Assistant role: 37 hour working week. On site parking. 100% office based. Early finish on Fridays. 25 days annual leave + BH. Christmas shutdown.
