Buyer Thetford GBP30,000- GBP38,000 DOE Technique Recruitment Solutions are proud to be representing one of our clients based in Thetford looking an experienced buyer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, to source product requirements, build effective relationships with suppliers to optimise price, availability and quality and regularly review stock levels. Duties including but not limited to: middot; Supporting the buying team in building and executing an effective procurement strategy middot; Building and maintain relationships with suppliers middot; Negotiating, placing and expediting orders with suppliers middot; Liaising with stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure availability and the time lines of materials for production across the site middot; Monitoring order prices regularly to improve costs middot; Being an active participant in the cross functional team to continually drive process and procedural improvements Experience required: middot; Experience as a buyer within a manufacturing environment is essential middot; Solid experience of negotiation, including negotiating price and terms middot; Computer literate with excellent IT skills including Microsoft office Excel middot; Have strong attention to detail and good organisational skills middot; Be self motivated, determined and driven to help develop the role middot; Work well under pressure with the ability to work to strict deadlines middot; A proactive team player who is honest, hardworking and a positive attitude Benefits: middot; On site parking middot; Health and well being programme middot; Employee discount middot; Company pension middot; Company events Please contact us today with your updated CV
