About the company ATA are working with a leading industrial manufacturing group at their impressive production facility in Newport. The group who are one of the largest of their kind in the UK, turnover north of GBP700 million across 20 manufacturing plants and over the last few years have been acquisitional within their approach, buying companies within a similar market to diversify their product range. Our client rsquo;s site in Sout Wales is one of the smaller within the group, however, is an important cog in the company wheel. The plant is managed by a supportive engineering manager who knows the market like the back of its hand, giving engineers a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop. They are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team. About the role As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for the safe and effective maintenance of all plant machinery. PPM Reacting to breakdowns remedial repair work Completing project work Fault finding Continuous improvement and root cause analyses About you To be considered for a Maintenance Engineer position with the business, you can be either electrical or mechanical biased and have experience from any industry. You should have the following: - Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment. - Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial. - Experience with adhering to safe lock off and tag of procedures. - Recognised qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City Guilds, HNC, HND). - Our client will also consider candidates if you are recently qualified and have just finished your apprenticeship.
