Quantity surveyor

Our client specialises in major construction projects mainly across the East Midlands region and is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Lincoln-based team. You will be responsible for managing projects up to GBP15m including subcontract procurement, payments and measures, cost management and valuations, build estimates and variation costings, forecasting and cost value reporting. Applicants must have strong experience as a QS in the construction industry, either at intermediate or senior level. You must have knowledge of JCT and NEC form of contracts and experience managing projects in a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, food, retail, education, affordable housing. A full driving licence is required, as the role will involve work-related travel to sites, mainly within a 40-50 mile radius of Lincoln but occasionally further afield. A company car or car allowance is provided.
