Quality engineer

Copello have partnered with an established defence manufacturing organisation based in the Portsmouth area, who are looking for a Quality Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. Some of the key requirements will include: * Writing reports to satisfy customer contracts, to include Factory Acceptance Tests, material * certification, dimensional reporting etc. * Evaluating data and identify recurring problems to define necessary corrective and preventive actions. * Participating in internal / external quality issues. * Supporting customer complaint and warranty investigations * Supporting continual improvement activities * Supporting product and project delivery quality planning activities To be considered for this role, the Quality Engineer must have the following: * Experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment in a regulated industry. * Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001 * Experience of conducting audits * Stakeholder management skills * Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance, engineering and manufacturing for example; root cause analysis, 8D, pareto, FMECA Competitive salary on offer.
