HMP Isle of Wight rsquo;s present role is a category B male training prison. Located on a small island, HMP Isle of Wight is located 8 minutes from St Mary rsquo;s Hospital and 26 minutes away from Cowes Ferry Terminal. Currently our core hours of operation are ndash; 07:30 -17:30 This position is part time 18.5 hours a week and you rsquo;ll receive an annual salary up to GBP44,992 per annum FTE - depending on experience. The role of Occupational Therapist will be an experience like no other, requiring a diverse and mixed Occupational Therapy background. The role involves assessing, planning, and delivering care and therapeutic interventions to patients with complex and/or unstable health care needs. Reviewing care and therapy interventions will be a key aspect of the role. We offer high quality treatment in a wide range of specialities and deliver excellent clinical care. You can expect to be involved in all aspects of the care planning approach for clients within your caseload. Experienced in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you #39;ll be able to manage your caseload and apply an application of OT theory in the treatment of patients in an inpatient setting. An understanding of common medical, surgical and neurological conditions is also required. Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
