Role and Responsibilities: As an SEN TA with a focus on Challenging Behaviours, you will play a crucial role in supporting the diverse needs of students within our client rsquo;s school. Your primary responsibilities will include: bull; Providing one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours. bull; Assisting the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. bull; Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. bull; Collaborating closely with other members of the SEN team, classroom teachers, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of students. bull; Monitoring and documenting student progress, behaviour incidents, and interventions as per school policies and procedures. bull; Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting students with SEN, especially those with challenging behaviours. Requirements: bull; Previous experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours, is essential. bull; A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. bull; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. bull; Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (e.g., SEN TA certification, Team Teach training) would be advantageous. bull; Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term position within the school.
