Senior structural engineer bridges

Senior Bridge Engineer Carrington West are currently recruiting for a Senior Bridge Engineer based in Essex, to join our client on a long term contract. Key responsibilities of the Bridge Engineer are: middot;Detailed design and improvement of various sized schemes - with support from more senior members. middot;Detailed Highway structural analysis middot;Preparation of reports, drawings, specifications and Contract Documents, including middot;Compliance with Highways England performance requirements. middot;Liaison with the local authority, Highways England and other stakeholders. middot;Compliance with QSE requirements including CDM. Additionally, you may need to carry out: middot;Management and supervision of more junior Structures Design Team Members. middot;Structural inspections, assessments and checks. middot;Structures studies and scheme identification work. middot;Value management and engineering including early contractor involvement and liaison with Project Managers and construction teams.
