Senior accountant

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a company that specialises in providing businesses with services that are vital for success, such as Legal solutions, Accountancy Solutions and Finance insurance Solutions. This is a full-time permanent role based in Derbyshire. This client facing technical/management role will have a dual requirement for preparation and reviewing as well as being required to provide on the job training for more junior members of the team along with providing technical guidance to colleagues and clients. You will be required to work with clients from sole trader up to multimillion pound groups and liaise with the Senior Leadership Team across the group on the full spectrum of opportunities. Key Accountabilities middot; Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts and tax computations middot; Reviewing Sole Trade and Partnership accounts middot; Reviewing Tax returns of individuals and partnerships middot; Reviewing P11Ds middot; Preparing Corporation Tax computations and submitting CT600 #39;s and revisions. middot; Interpreting accounts and conveying to Senior Management and Clients middot; Liaising with HMRC where required on behalf of clients. middot; To understand the following: - Corporate restructures - Capitals Gains Tax - Income Tax - Inheritance Tax Skills and Knowledge: middot; Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or qualified by experience. middot; Preferably at least 3 years post qualified middot; Experience with cloud software such as Xero and Quickbooks middot; Ability to develop and maintain client relations. Ensure a high level of service to meet client expectations. middot; Ability to think on their feet and challenge the status quo. middot; Open to and encouraging of change. middot; Strong attention to detail middot; Able to train colleagues on a technical level. middot; Desire to build strong client relationships.
