Manufacturing Project Engineer North Somerset Up to GBP47,600 per annum DOE + Benefits Monday to Friday 37.5 hours Manufacturing Project Engineer sought within Somerset division of global specialist equipment manufacturer offering comprehensive benefits package and further career development opportunities. The role will be suited to experienced manufacturing engineers from any complex manufacturing background with a strong continuous improvements culture. As the Project Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for all of the PME #39;s (Project Manufacturing Engineer #39;s) activities in delivering manufacturing solutions for products and platforms through the required channels, i.e. NPI, CIP, sustaining and business strategy. The role will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead and will be responsible for conducting all project progress meetings with them as well as any stake holders concerned with the projects. You will play the main lead role for all PME #39;s and conducting one to one reviews and addressing any training or support needs. You will be the main conduit between the manufacturing engineering department and all other areas of the business internally and external customer contact as project lead. The role in brief: * Manage and coordinate all PME #39;s * Update and Continuous Improvement of PME tracker to ensure resource is focussed and controlled. * Manage and request all required resource for all projects * Implement, maintain and police all metrics for timely project completion with budgets, time scale and guidelines. * Manage and coordinate all project progress meetings * Work in support of and in conjunction with the Manufacturing Systems Manager. * A full role description can be made available on application The Person required: * Experienced Manufacturing Engineer from a complex manufacturing environment * Project Lead and Team Lead experience
