Sports and activity coach

Start date September 2024 or before (subject to all recruitment checks) Chetham rsquo;s is a magical place, home to the UK rsquo;s largest specialist music school, the oldest library in the English-speaking world and a world-class concert venue all in the heart of Manchester. We are looking for an inspiring and reliable Sports Coach/Fitness Instructor with experience of working with children and young people to provide fitness instruction and sports activities to students aged 8 ndash; 18 years The job * The position is a 1 year fixed term role. Up to 20 hours per week during term time, with evening and some weekend work. * Organising extra-curricular activities and lessons which address the needs and interests of our children and young people, including devising a range of games and activities which encourage the students to have fun, whilst maintaining a level of fitness, promoting wellbeing and co-ordinating of trips and excursions which enrich student experience. In return * Hourly rate GBP20.57 (Scale Point 31). * Benefits including free catered lunches during term time, on site gym and free tickets to concerts.
