Cable assembler

Introduction Our client, a leading manufacturing company in the cable industry, is currently seeking a Cable Assembler to join their team. As a Cable Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of coaxial cable assemblies, tinning with solder pots, heat shrinking, crimping, soldering, cable preparation, and testing. This is a contract position with opportunities for progression based on individual performance. Key Responsibilities Assembly of coaxial cable assemblies Tinning with solder pots Heat shrinking Crimping with handheld or crimp-cradle Working with multi-component connectors Soldering when appropriate with tongs or irons Comprehending and following drawings and instructions Carrying out cable preparation and terminating connectors onto the cable Working at a bench (either standing or sitting) Automated and manual cutting of cable lengths Automated cable stripping Testing - basic continuity to signal wave from analysis phase matching Job Requirements Experience in cable assembly Good concentration and attention to detail Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity Ability to listen well to instructions and guidance Hours of Work Monday - Friday, 08:30-17:30 (07:30 - 16:30) Apply Now If you have the necessary skills and experience, and are seeking an opportunity to join a dynamic manufacturing company, please apply with your CV and a brief cover letter.
