Quality engineer

Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client #39;s inclusive and thriving team. This full-time Quality Engineer role is based in Stockport and offers a salary of GBP45,000 to GBP50,000 per annum with many attractive benefits. The core purpose of this job function is to provide Quality support to the assembly area, ensuring that both customer and internal requirements are met in line with appropriate standards and accreditations. This role may require occasional travel to Munich. During your first few weeks in this Quality Engineer role, you can expect to take on some of the following: Be the key Quality support to the programme and assist with the transfer of knowledge from their parent company in Germany to the location at Stockport Understand the customer requirements to develop, implement, and monitor effective quality assurance and control processes to improve and maintain the quality of products and processes Devise and review specifications to meet customer expectations Promote continuous improvement using techniques such as A3, 8D, PFMEA, DMAIC, and the LEAN toolbox to maximise assembly opportunities Manage all reported non-conformances through effective root cause analysis to ensure containment, corrective, and preventive actions are implemented We are seeking a Quality Engineer applicant with a degree/HNC/HND in either Engineering or Quality. You will also require: A working knowledge of continuous improvement techniques such as A3, 8D, 6 Sigma, Lean, and 5S Proven knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Cpk, R R, SPC, FMEA, Control plans Be a qualified internal auditor with experience in a similar role, having good technical knowledge and understanding Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant accreditations If you #39;re looking to make a positive impact and create change, possessing an inclusive and committed approach, you #39;ll be rewarded with a salary of GBP45,000 to GBP50,000 per annum and a compelling benefits package.
