Neighbourhood coach

If you are passionate about helping people and have the skills to guide customers to better manage their homes - we want you at Bromford. As a roaming neighbourhood coach, you rsquo;ll work flexibly across Gloucestershire to support patches, making sure the properties are well maintained, customers are aware of their responsibilities as well as offering coaching and guidance. Day to day you will manage tenancy sign ups and changes, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding, as well as court work and evictions where necessary. You rsquo;ll have a holistic customer approach and build good relationships with services in the local community, making sure you have a positive impact on the lives of our customers. Working closely with our maintenance and lettings teams, you rsquo;ll make sure we effectively allocate empty homes, manage customers rsquo; expectations around repairs as well as escalate any property maintenance issues. To be successful here, you will need to be someone who genuinely cares about people - but with resilience, and experience of managing a busy and varied workload. Self-starters who are good communicators will thrive, as well as someone who is curious and doesn rsquo;t shy away from having difficult conversations. This role is permanent, full time and subject to an enhanced DBS check. You rsquo;ll support patches across Gloucestershire with travel across the surrounding areas required. You will be someone who: * Has experience working in a customer facing role, ideally within housing management * Strives to achieve performance targets, maximising customer satisfaction * Is tenacious and resilient ndash; who does what it takes to achieve the right outcome * Sees the best in people and has the capacity to coach * Has a reputation for first-rate influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills * Has access to a vehicle and a full driving licence Your previous experience may be in roles such as housing manager, housing officer, neighbourhood manager or tenancy officer, amongst others.
