Great training opportunities Ability to develop into management roles for those wanting progression The role: Needs a skilled electrical engineer who thrives on a varied and busy environment. Can reprioritise and react at speed diagnosing and solving electrical faults. Understands the importance to work with the PPM schedule and other CI projects that will be assigned to the engineering team. Attention to detail ensuring the PPM system is consistently updated. Works closely with production and the facilities management team with the overall purpose of minimising downtime to ensure the machinery output is maximised. Having an eye for improvements on kit or processes - all ideas are welcomed! An organised and structured approach around service levels with effective management of spares stock levels and availability. Adhering to health and safety at all times in the factory to ensure a safe working environment. Reports into the Engineering Team Leader. Is part of a five person team. What background do you need for this Maintenance Engineer role? Previous experience in food or FMCG manufacturing as a maintenance engineer. Knowledge of PLC highly desirable Relevant engineering apprenticeship experience. Inquisitive in nature, able to troubleshoot drawing on electrical engineering knowledge. A proactive and positive mindset to problem solving. Strong communication skills.
