Quality Lead/ CMM Programmer Our Client based in the Fareham area is looking to add a skilled and experienced Quality Lead/ CMM Programmer to their team. The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment with hands-on experience Programming CMM rsquo;s, with strong attention to detail. The company can offer a very competitive package and the work involved is challenging and complex. Working in a variety of industries our client supports customers within challenging sectors offering bespoke solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quality and CMM programming. Experience leading a small team will be beneficial, however is not essential as support can be given to advance into this position for the right candidate. Quality Lead/ CMM Programmer Main Duties Responsibilities: * Strong knowledge of CMM Programming * 1st off, last off and line inspection * FAIRS Creation * Knowledge of Company Quality Management Systems * Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills * Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications * Able to understand customer technical requirements and capture issues, concerns and risks and offer technical feedback to the production management team. * Able to retrieve relevant technical information from customer models and drawings * Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines * Able to generate inspection reports and articulate issues to management team * Recording of all relevant information for audit purposes. Quality Lead/ CMM Programmer Essential Skills and Abilities: * Able to program CMM Machines from Scratch * Must have working knowledge of CMM using Mitutoyo, MCOSMOS, PC-DMIS software * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. * Strong Technical knowledge. * Ability to react to unpredictable situations. * Ability to deal with complex problems at short notice and resolve issues with the operational team. * Working to customer specifications and exceeding the set standards. * Professional approach to internal and external customers * To help maintain the drawing stores as the lead engineer for quality * Working to the highest Standards to support the team rsquo;s growth.
