Job Title: Apprenticeship Skills Tutor (Plumbing) Type of Business: Public Sector Location: Rotherham Annual Salary: up to GBP36,413 Start Date: ASAP Hours: 37 GI Group are now seeking to appoint an Apprenticeships Skills Tutor (Plumbing) to our public sector client based in Rotherham. The Apprenticeship Skills Tutor (Plumbing) would support and enhance the apprentice and employer experience through effective skills coaching and tutoring. They will be a subject matter specialist and will be required to design and deliver highly inspirational teaching sessions and support apprentices to achieve their end point assessment. Main Duties of the Apprenticeship Skills Tutor (Plumbing): To design, develop and deliver highly inspirational teaching sessions to learners towards the knowledge, skills and behaviours within the health standards. To provide coaching and skills support through developmental feedback to ensure successful timely completion of End Point Assessment (EPA). To conduct regular tripartite reviews with the apprentice line manager/mentor and apprentice to successfully complete timely EPA. To support the development and progression of a caseload of apprentices through onsite workplace visits in the creation of showcase evidence such as observations, reflective accounts, witness testimonies, professional discussions and any further evidence to support EPA requirements, this evidence will be documented within the e-portfolio OneFile. To highlight document any operational issues to the line manager which may affect learner progression as appropriate. To set achievable tasks and provide support throughout the apprentice journey including assisting the apprentice to be prepared for any functional skills assessments.
