CNC Setter Operator (Milling and/or Turning) Permanent Nottingham GBP12 - GBP16 per hour + shift allowance + bonus What does the role involve? EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a precision engineering company located in Nottingham that is a leading specialist in manufacturing precision-engineered components. Due to our client #39;s increased workload, they are looking to expand their Machining Department and are therefore looking for a CNC machinist to join their growing team and support with new and exciting projects. As a CNC machinist (Milling and/or Turning), you will be responsible for running proven programs to a schedule, adjusting tool settings, and correcting any errors. You will be setting up tools and producing a lsquo;First Off rsquo; part to correct quality standards, completing 1st off inspections from engineering drawings, and updating the paperwork. You would also be required to apply machine maintenance as per schedules as well as a variety of other CNC Turning/Milling responsibilities. What experience do you need? * At least 2 years CNC Machining Experience as a CNC Miller and/or CNC Turner * Previous background of machining small to medium-sized precision components for high-profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil Gas, Medical, or any other advanced manufacturing sectors * Ability to set and operate CNC Turning/Milling Machines using Mazatrol, Fanuc, Heidenhain or similar software packages * Confident in various CNC Machines * Work with various materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Titanium etc * Able to read and interpret engineering drawings * Able to self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment What do you get? * Permanent position * GBP12 - GBP16 Per Hour + Shift Allowance + Bonus * Opportunity to earn more as you progress * Overtime Available at Premium Rates * Various shifts available: Double days and Nights * 25 Days Holiday #39;s + BH * Healthcare and Sick Pay Schemes Available * Pension * Free parking * Opportunity to work in a modern environment for a growing business * Chance to progress and develop your career * Plus many more additional benefits Who would suit this role?
