Job Title: Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer Location: Derby, East Midlands Salary / Benefits GBP22k - GBP35k + Training + Benefits Our client is a renowned and well respected multi-disciplined Environmental Company. They are now recruiting for an Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer to join their team in the Midlands region. Working across Educational, Hospitality, Healthcare, Leisure, and Manufacturing sites, you will be responsible for undertaking inspections, testing, ducting, and remedial work on fire dampers, alongside maintaining AHUs in line with Health Safety / TR19 / COSHH guidelines. Experience Qualifications: Will have experience working hands on within the Air Hygiene / Fire Damper industry for a reputable company. Holding industry relevant qualification e.g., TR19 and / or Fire Damper Testing certificate would be beneficial to the role. Will have relevant, up to date knowledge of Health Safety / TR19 / COSHH guidelines. Excellent communication skills. IT literate. The Role: Carrying out testing, inspections, ducting, and remedial work on fire dampers. Conducting maintenance of Air handing units (AHU #39;s). Carrying out kitchen extract and ventilation cleans. Cleaning and disinfecting duct work. Ensuring to complete all relevant paperwork, producing comprehensive reports based on site findings. Ensuring work is carried out in line with Health Safety / TR19 / COSHH guidelines. Liaising with clients in a professional manner, dealing with any issues and queries on site.
