As an SEN Teaching Assistant at our client rsquo;s school, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to students with diverse needs. Role and Responsibilities: bull; Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviours, ensuring their safety and well-being in the classroom environment. bull; Collaborate with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies. bull; Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, promoting social and emotional development through engaging activities and interventions. bull; Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents/carers as required. bull; Assist with the preparation of resources and materials, adapting learning materials to meet the specific needs of students. bull; Maintain a supportive and respectful relationship with students, promoting independence and self-esteem. Requirements: middot; Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviours. middot; Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools). middot; Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers. middot; Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting students with diverse needs. middot; Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This is a full-time, long-term position, offering a competitive daily rate of GBP85-GBP100.
