Mobile air conditioning engineer

Job Title: Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer Sector: Facilities Management, Commercial Location: Mobile - covering North East of England CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client rsquo;s team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction. Package: Competitive salary between GBP40,000 - GBP42,000 per annum (depending on experience) Van fuel card supplied Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) Participation in an lsquo;out of hours rsquo; on call rota (to be confirmed) 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Generous workplace pension scheme Training, development progression opportunities Responsibilities: Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems and chillers Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment Qualifications: Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification Full UK driving licence Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective communication and customer service skills If you are a dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer, looking for a rewarding career opportunity, please apply with your full CV or contact Aaron Rutter at CBW Staffing Solutions
