Job Advert Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Rotherham As a Support Worker, you #39;ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting support throughout the night to providing emotional support, you rsquo;ll play a vital role in their life. What we #39;re looking for: middot; A genuine passion for supporting others. middot; Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships, both people we support are non verbal so good communication skills are vital in this role , this includes been able to read body language , facial expressions , recognising any pain/discomfort. middot; Flexibility to work any night per week including weekends, and holidays om a monthly rota basis. middot; A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities. Contract options: middot; Full-time:30 hrs per week, this would be x3 10 hour waking night shifts per week Shift times: All our services are 24hr care.
