Job Title: Engineering and Design Technology Teacher (Part-time, 0.8 FTE) Location: Preston Start Date: September 2024 Pay Rate: Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS) in accordance with experience and qualifications. Position Overview: We are excited to present this opportunity for an enthusiastic Engineering and Design Technology Teacher. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering engaging lessons and fostering a supportive learning environment for students. You will lead the development of the Engineering qualification at KS4 and inspire students through Design Technology at KS3. Key Responsibilities: Deliver captivating lessons that ignite students #39; passion for Engineering and Design Technology. Lead the development of the Engineering qualification at KS4. Inspire and motivate students through Design Technology at KS3. Utilise assessment data effectively to inform planning and teaching. Contribute to intervention strategies within the subject area. Collaborate with colleagues to develop syllabuses, resources, and teaching strategies. Provide enrichment opportunities for students. Demonstrate a commitment to the growth and development of all students. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong background in Engineering and Design Technology. Experience teaching GCSE standards. Proven track record of achieving excellent progress with students.
